Our Ayurvedic Mask will absorb oil from your skin and prevent and reduce existing forms of acne, such as pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads. These types of acne form when your pores are clogged with excessive dirt and oil. This is the type of mask you can apply directly to areas of concern or as a spot treatment. We recommend using our mask 1-2 times a week to keep your pores refreshed and unclogged.

Before you start
Our clay mask is a powerful exfoliant which contains many natural but potent antibacterial ingredients such as Turmeric, Neem, Witch Hazel, 5% AHA and clays such as Kaolin and Bentonite. This means that our mask will effectively clean your skin by removing dead skin, unclogging pores and drawing out excess sebum. The active ingredients in the mask will cause a tingling sensation on your skin as the mask dries - do not be concerned about this. However we do not recommend this mask for sensitive skin as exfoliating products are known to be irritating to these skin types. Remember to limit the application time; instead of leaving the mask on for a long period, remove it as soon as it is dried.

Step 1: Cleanse Your Skin.
Thoroughly cleanse skin to remove any build-up of dirt, oils or makeup

Step 2: Apply A Thin and Even Layer
Use clean fingers or a brush to apply a thin, even layer. Less is more with a clay mask - a thick layer takes longer to dry and any product that doesn’t touch your skin is a waste!

Step 3: Sit Back & Relax
Sit back and relax for 10-15 minutes while your mask gets to work - don't be alarmed that the clay tingles your skin as it dries! Why not go all-out on your pamper session and use this time to apply our hair mask or paint your nails?

Step 4: Rinse & Pat Dry
Once your mask has set and dried, wet a clean face washer with lukewarm water and rub away the clay in small, circular motions. Repeat until all mask is removed. Next, reach for a clean towel and lightly pat your skin until dry.

Witch hazel is an astringent with anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties. It helps to relieve inflammation and fight acne.
Neem
The neem tree is often referred to as 'the village pharmacy' in India. The bark, wood, sap, leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds, and oil of the neem tree are used for varied medicinal purposes. Neem is incorporated into several polyherbal Ayurvedic preparations.

Our clay mask is designed without parabens, phthalates, phenoxyethanol, silicones, acrylates, petroleum-based products (such as petrolatum, mineral oil, and paraffin wax), propylene and butylene glycols, PEGs, sulfates (SLS, SLES), artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances.
No, we do not recommend this product for sensitive skin. Though it is a natural product, it is made with powerful natural ingredients which will effectively exfoliate skin. Because exfoliation removes the upper layers of the epidermis, sensitive skin types are advised to seek professional recommendation for a suitable exfoliant for their skin type.
